Founder/owner, Real Estate Agent
My background in education serves me well in working with first time home buyers. I will clarify, guide, and support people new to the process all the way to the closing.
I have raised my family in Wauwatosa, and worked in many schools in the surrounding areas. Consequently, I understand and appreciate what these areas have to offer its residents.
Clients who find themselves having to make significant and difficult decisions regarding real estate are well served not only by my expertise but my experience, compassion, and patience.
Our work to list and sell your home will eliminate stress and allow you to sleep at night- knowing that no matter what happens, there is a network of people to move the process along to a successful close.
A Chicago, Illinois native, JoAnn began investing in real estate at the age of 26. Her first purchase was a two-flat quickly followed by a duplex and a three-flat in central Illinois. From the moment of her first closing, real estate was a part of her life and it was only a matter of time before it become her career. In her late 30s, JoAnn and her family moved to southeast Wisconsin for a business venture. The state’s bounty of lakes and beautiful countryside made for a seamless transition.
After the move from Illinois to Wisconsin, JoAnn and her business partners purchased a neighborhood shopping center – opening her eyes to the commercial real estate world.
In 2006, after a 12-year-career as a business owner of a coffee house and home-style boutique, JoAnn became a Realtor.
Following her jump into real estate, JoAnn became a broker in 2007. While working as a broker-agent for Coldwell Banker in Lake Geneva she established the foundations for what she practices today.
In 2013, JoAnn decided to join forces with Anne and Sharon. Bringing the expert training she received during her time at Coldwell Banker, as well as her extensive business knowledge, to create Spotlight Real Estate.
